Light:Prefers higher light but will adapt to a variety of light levels
Water:Water when the soil becomes dry to the tough. Stick a finger 1-2 inches into the soilIf the soil is still moist, wait 3-4 days and check again. Water then to a depth of 1-2".
Temp:Normal room temperature indoors or a shady spot outdoors in warm weather.
Soil:Make sure the soil is well-draining.. Sand or loam can be incorporated several
inches into the soil to increase drainage.
Fertilizer:Fertilize the plant once a month during the summer with a well-balanced, water-soluble fertlizer, such as a 20-20-20.
Pests:Spider mites and scale..
Special Care:Occasional pruning may be necessary to keep the plant in good shape. Pruning
will also make the plant fuller.

Growth Habit:This is an evergreen shrub that is commonly grown as a houseplant. It has dark
green , finger-like leaves and flexible stems that fan out into a tree-like crown.
Fun Fact:This plant is also known as the dwarf scheff or dwarf umbrella tree because of the
leaves growing in a cluster resembling an umbrella.
