Light:Partial shade. Protect from direct sunlight
Water:Keep soil moist at all times during the spring and summer. You may want to
keep a saucer underneath your plant with water at all times. During the winter
keep the soil a little drier BUT DO NOT LET IT DRY OUT completely. If the
leaves begin to turn yellow you are watering too much�.. This plant loves
high humidity. Mist leaves often. If plant is indoors use a humidifier in the
same room as this plant helps tremendously
Temp:Average Room temp, between 60 to 70 degrees is ideal
Soil:Loose, well drained soil, amended with plenty of peat moss, with a
slightly acid pH.
Fertilizer:Feed every 4 to 6 weeks throughout growing season, with a acid-forming
fertilizer (sold as fertilizer for "acid lovers")
Pests:Spider mites
Special Care:Inorder to get your plant to rebloom, control the temperature around it.
Keep it warm but cool around 60 to 70 degrees to force it back into bloom.
If temps reach over 75 degrees they will shed all their blooms
