Unit Pack Size: 4" Pot

Light:This plant will take full sun if inside a south window is best

Water:Depending on temp and the amount of sun, this plant ma require
more water during hot summer than in winter months. Never let
this plant go completely dry

Temp:These durable plant can take temp between 50 and 100 degrees
Preferred temp is around 72 degrees, cool winter temp around 64
will encourage blooming

Soil:Soil should be one part garden soil, one part peat, and one part
coarse builders sand, so the soil drains well.

Fertilizer:During active growth season feed with a half strength liquid fertilizer.
In winter months do not feed at all

Pests:Root crown rot which occurs from to much water. Scale may infest
this plant, use an insecticide to fight this battle

Special Care:If during certain periods the leaves begin to drop off, it could be
3 different things, too warm, too wet or too dry... check your
water regularly and make sure your plant does not get to hot

Flower Color:Red, Yellow, Orange or Pink. Red is the most popular

Growth Habit:This plant may grow several inches every year, and reach
a height of 3 feet over time.

Fun Fact:The name describes the spined branches that people have thought
were the ones used to make Christ crown of throns the red flowers
is a symbol of Christ blood. Although research has shown that it
could not have been this plant that was used... the name has stayed
