Light:Provide an area with bright filtered light but keep out of direct sun
Water:Keep soil moist but do not over water. In between watering allow the top one inch of soil to dry out before watering again. Also do not allow this plant to dry out
completely or it will drop all of its leaves.
Temp:Keep this plant in a warm area, between 65-85 degrees is ideal. Do not allow itto reach temperatures below 60 degrees.
Soil:Any good potting mix is acceptable.
Fertilizer:Fertilize this plant every two weeks in spring and summer. Feed monthly in fall and
winter with a balanced liquid fertilizer
Pests:Spider mites, scale and mealy bug.
Special Care:Repot in spring only when it has outgrown its pot. Moving to a new location can
cause leaf drop. If you want to keep the plant short, cut it back each year. Spring is the best time to cut back.
Growth Habit:Short, finely textured bush-type plant. The dark greenish-brown leaves have saw toothed edges.
Fun Fact:This plant is native to the tropical South Pacific Island of New Caledoia.
