Light:Provide an area with bright light to full sun.
Water:Keep soil moist but do not over water. Allow the soil to dry out a bit in betweenwatering otherwise the roots may rot. During rest period, give only enough waterto keep mixture from drying out.
Temp:This plant likes average room temperatures, between 65-70 degrees.
Soil:Use a soil based potting mixture with the addition of a small amount of coursesand or perlite.
Fertilizer:Standard liquid fertilizer every 3-4 weeks from early spring to the end of summer.
Special Care:Their fleshy leaves can tolerate dry air as well as short periods of drought so good drainage is important
Flower Color:Yellow, orange, red, white.
Growth Habit:Bushy plant with fleshy leaves with long lasting flowers on top of an upright stem. The plants bloom in the winter. The flowers usually last for 2-3 months with good care.
Fun Fact:In Scandinavia this plant was known as "Spring Fire" or "Autumn Glow"
because of the plants glowing bright colors
